One page, interactive storytelling experience
The CT Spectral experience is an interactive storytelling experience for doctors, clinicians and scientists to explore a CT Spectral scanner, from Philips Healthcare.
The traditional CT journey shows the patient coming back for multiple scans, limited imaging for analysis and the costs adding up. Spectral CT, on the other hand, allows for retrospective analysis, one-time scans, and color mapping to drive efficiency for hospitals and get patients on a faster path to care. To illustrate the differences, we started with three concepts in a simple one-page story.
This experience hooks or challenges the user to see the spectral difference and prompts them to scroll and learn as they virtually scan two men's bodies to see the difference of an abdominal scan using CT Spectral scanning against a similar abdominal scan using conventional scanning — and to understand the benefits of Philips imaging solutions.

Leveraging Philips brand guidelines, the design (and story) incorporates three parts.
Part I presents the problem. Two men are scanned – one by Spectral CT and the other by another, a traditional machine.
In the event that a clinician needs different information than initially anticipated, part II highlights the advantage of Spectral CT's retrospective analysis.
Last, a comparison chat illustrates the time saved for both clinicians and patients when Spectral CT is used.
